Karnafuly Cruise Line published this timetable for MV Karnafuly Express and MV Baro Awlia. They leave Nuniachora BIWTA ghat in Cox’s Bazar and return from Saint Martin jetty. Colours group the same departure. They are not a fare class.

The Cox’s Bazar administration had said in late October that the new list was not final, and a Daily Star report from the first sailing described a higher minimum than last season. Confirm the fare for your date before you pay.

The southern sandbar. At low tide it is a walk or a short boat. Ask what time the last boat comes back before you go.

A small island,
south of Teknaf.

Saint Martin is about 20.63°N, 92.32°E. This month’s Karnafuly ships do not leave from Teknaf town. They leave from Nuniachora jetty in Cox’s Bazar.

Saint Martin — Narikel Jinjira — is the country’s only coral island, a short sail from Teknaf. Coconut palms, a fishing village, and Chera Dwip when the tide lets you walk.

How to reach the island

Before you sail

Three things worth knowing.

The season is the sea.

November to March is when the crossing is usually open. Later in the year the authorities often stop tourist boats. Confirm the sailing before you pay for a room.

Rates live with the resort.

This directory does not invent prices. Ask what the night includes — meals, fans, generator hours — and get the answer on WhatsApp or a phone call.
