The stay
Ask before the boat.
Hotel Royal Beach is listed as a hotel rather than a cottage resort. That can mean a simpler room and an easier walk to food. Ask them directly what the room is like, and don’t assume air-conditioning runs all night.

What to ask
- Which room is free on these exact dates?
- What does the rate include — meals, water, generator hours?
- Where do you meet guests when the boat lands?
- How do you want to be paid, and when is the room actually held?
